Sérgio Bello was born in Recife (Brazil) in 1952.
He has been living in Paris since 1978. Painter, sculptor, illustrator and multimedia artist, he is considered a pioneer and Brazilian Master of the contemporary art by some important European institutions. His works are part of important Museums and institutions collections as well as private ones.
Through his actual art Sérgio Bello works for the protection of nature. “It starts from a deep silence in the soul, generating a kind of explosion” – explains the artist.
