By creating different and mysterious auto-portraits, Weber Pádua plays with illusion and perception. He catches our eyes for the inside part of the image, when it turns to be a place of curiosity and constant thinking.

The work of the Brazilian photographer Weber Pádua, born in 1966, is a reflection of his more than twenty five year career and of the relationship he has developed, primarily with observation, then with technique, and finally with art expression.

It is also a powerful example of contemporary photographic evolution.

He received his first Kodak at the age of fifteen as a gift from his father and, from the first click, was immediately enchanted. It was thanks to the discovery of this real passion that Weber found a way of transforming pleasure into a profession.
