This catalogue was published for the exhibition Beleza na Imperfeição, presented in Paris in 2014 through a collaboration between Ricardo Fernandes Gallery and TS Studio, with support from Sesi Minas / CNI in Brazil. The publication brings together the work of three contemporary Brazilian designers — Ana Vaz, Olavo Neto and Zanini de Zanine — each offering a distinct interpretation of Brazil’s creative identity.
The exhibition explored how a new generation of designers engages with form, material and cultural memory. Their work reflects an intuitive ability to transform everyday elements into objects that carry both function and expressive force. Imperfection, texture and experimentation become central components of their practice, revealing a design language rooted in adaptation, reinvention and the poetic potential of materials.
With texts by Any Collin and Ricardo Fernandes, the catalogue presents this meeting of three strong creative voices who revisit Brazilian design through originality and innovation. Published in English and French, the 24‑page volume documents a moment in which contemporary Brazilian design asserted its presence on the international stage.
